We are somewhat unique in that within our area we are a generic cancer support group which meets weekly, so wherever the site of your cancer and regardless of when you were diagnosed, you will be made very welcome. Providing you are over the age of eighteen, the only criteria for joining our group is to have received a cancer diagnosis.

Although we don’t of course offer medical advice, we do provide a safe environment where everyone understands the disease, and our aim through caring for each other, is simply to improve our quality of life.

Membership of the group is free, our funds being provided by donations and various local grants, in addition to our own fund-raising activities such as our Spring and Autumn Fayres to which the public are invited.

Throughout the year we provide a range of leisurely outside activities for the group in keeping with the mobility of our members who themselves have a vote on deciding what they would like to do.

Although based in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, we extend a warm welcome to anyone from the surrounding towns and villages including Dunstable, Luton, Milton Keynes, Bletchley and Aylesbury.

In fact, it doesn’t matter where you live, a warm welcome awaits!

We support each other through the sad times and share our good times. Coffee and biscuits supplement an inclusive, warm atmosphere at our Friday meetings.
